Stefan Zweig was born in Vienna, on 28 November
1881 and was an
Austrian Novelist and one of the most popular writers in the world. In 1934, following Hitler’s rise to power in Germany, left Austria for England and then in 1940 with his second wife crossed Atlantic to the United States. He died on 22 February
1942, aged 60,in Brazil.
